Mahima Poddar

Mahima Poddar is the Group Head of Personal Banking at Equitable Bank, a position she holds after serving as the Senior Vice-President and Group Head of Personal Banking. She has played a pivotal role in leading EQ Bank, Canada's leading digital bank, as well as overseeing the Single-Family mortgage businesses and other key areas within the bank. Mahima's leadership has been instrumental in the growth and success of Equitable Bank, including the acquisition of Bennington Financial and the Maple Bank portfolio, the introduction of decumulation lines of business, and the significant growth of EQ Bank's total deposits to over $8 billion. Her educational background includes an Honours Business Administration degree from Western University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Additionally, Mahima Poddar has been recognized for her leadership and achievements, being named in the WXN Top 100.
